The Archaeology Museum in Betancuria contains displays of antique domestic objects as well as local archaeology. It is located in a town house that has been converted into a museum. There are artefacts from the time of the original islanders, the pre-Hispanic people. These include a frieze of human figures found in a cave at Villaverde. There are also fossils, bones and pottery.
