The Museo de Ardales is an archaeological and ethnological museum which is partly devoted to the Cueva de Ardales. This cave, which is a few kilometres from the town, was occupied by man in prehistoric times. There are copies of the Paleolithic paintings and carvings discovered in the cave in the museum as well as a collection of other, later artefacts. To visit the caves on guided visits, it is essential to make arrangements with the museum several weeks in advance.
