The Auditori de Barcelona opened in 1999 and it is now the home of Barcelona`s symphony orchestra. The building was designed by Madrid architect Rafael Moneo and it has two stage halls, one with a capacity of 2,500 people, the other about 700. There is a courtyard between them and a glass dome above. In the main auditorium, orchestra and chamber music concerts are held throughout the year.
