One of the loveliest features of this magnificent Gothic cathedral is the cloister, which has a pool with white geese and a statue to St George. The interior contains a single nave with 28 side chapels, and in the crypt is the alabaster tomb of St Eulalia, the city`s patron saint. Some of the early 15th Century choir stalls bear coats of arms. Although dating from the late 13th Century, the cathedral was not finished until 1913 when the central spire was completed.
