Benidorm Island is a small island in the bay and it is a protected marine reserve. It can be reached by a twenty minute boat trip and you can take a walk to the island`s summit. There is a restaurant. Nearby is another small islet which only rises about twenty feet above the sea. Many seabirds live on the islands including the storm petrel. It is also possible to take a trip on a glass bottomed boat on which you can watch the fish below you.
