Bolonia has a beautiful, sandy beach that is almost two miles long. The village is a peaceful place and a few cows may be seen wandering on the beach in the mornings. The village is popular at weekends but is quiet during the week. The beach attracts windsurfers and lifesavers are here in the summer as well as a red cross centre. There are restaurants and kiosks, and hammocks and parasols are available to hire.
