This lovely botanic garden, situated on a headland north-east of the town, was founded in the 1920s by German industraliast Karl Faust on the site of an earlier garden. Here you will find more than 4,000 species of plants, and they are arranged in themes, and include a subtropical garden. Plants include a large cacti collection, bamboo groves, palms, olives and cypresses. From the headland are beautiful views of the coastline and sea.
