Magnificent Cadiz Cathedral took over one hundred years to build and it was not fully completed until 1853. This baroque and neo-classical cathedral, with its marble and stone interior and dome of golden tiles, is one of the largest in Spain. It has been declared a Site of Cultural Interest. In the crypt is the tomb of composer Manuel de Fella who died in 1946. Visits can be paid to the bell tower where a guide explains the city`s history.
