Canalejas Park

The Canalejas Park can be found opposite the port and at the end of the esplanade. The park is known for its spectacular plants and amongst them are some rubber plants which are hundreds of years old. They are over sixty feet high. The entrances to the park are guarded by sculptures of lions and dogs and there is a statue to Carlos Arniches, a writer from Alicante.
