Caridad Church is one of the most interesting churches in Cartagena, and it is the home of the city`s patron saint, the Virgin of Sorrow, an 18th Century image from Naples. Inside are a number of sculptures by Salzillo, including the Crucifixion. There is a Rococo altarpiece in a chapel. You can also see other works of art, including 19th Century paintings by Manuel Wssell de Guimbarda.
