Casa Batllo is a famous, futuristic apartment block renovated by Gaudi for Josep Batllo i Casanovas. Completed in 1907 and in the Modernist style, the building has a shimmering mosaic facade with ochre, blue and green ceramics, and iron balconies. The roof is said to resemble the back of a dragon, and it has a floral dome with a tower and cross. Gaudi also created interior designs for the building, including the stairs and stained glass.
