The Casa das Abellas is devoted to informing visitors about the world of bees. There is an outdoor theme park with observation hives where the bees can be viewed as they work. The centre has both old and modern hives and there is a garden with medicinal and aromatic plants. Casa das Abellas also holds workshops about honey and beeswax where both old and new tools are used. Temporary exhibitions are also held here.
