Located in the Prince`s Garden and named after the building previously on the site, the Labourer`s Cottage is a small palace built for Carlos 1V. The sumptous interior contains many rooms with marble floors, silk tapestries, furniture, clocks, porcelain, lamps, and canvases. There is a statue gallery with Greek statues and Roman mosaics, and a ballroom with a malachite table that was a gift from the Tsar Alexander 111. The Platinum Room is decorated with gold as well as platinum.
