Casa del Obispo was the former bishop`s palace and it is now an archaeological site where you can learn about the city`s long history. You can see the bases of walls dating back to about 1000 BC when Cadiz was founded by the Phoenicians. There are also small Roman murals, foundations of a temple and the remains of the palace`s stables, all built on this site.
