The writer Llorenc Villalonga lived at Can Sabater and his home has been turned into a museum where visitors can see his study, various other rooms and learn about his life. His most famous novel was The Doll`s Room which portrayed Mallorca`s 19th Century gentry. The writer died in 1980. Rich families in Mallorca used to have their own priest and the house has a chapel.
