Castillo de San Sebastian stands on a tiny island at one end of La Caleta Beach. It is joined to the mainland by a causeway that was built in the 19th Century. Nowadays, the castle is a lighthouse but, long ago and according to local tradition, a Phoenician temple stood here. It is possible to walk out to the islet. On the opposite side of the beach is the Castillo Santa Catalina with its small chapel.
