Cave of Saint Joseph
La Vall D`Uixo 12600 - Spain

Map
The Cave of Saint Joseph is a prehistoric cave that is accessed by boat and on foot. The cave was not discovered until the early 20th Century, and it is believed that it was inhabited about 15,000 years ago as paintings from this period are visible. The visit consists of a half mile underground boat ride and a walk of about 260 yards. Along the way are interesting stalactites. One section of a mile long underground tunnel is not accessible to the public.
