The Parque Natural de Cazorla is known for its varied wildlife which includes wild boar, deer, genet and beech martens. Birdwatchers may spot vultures, eagles and peregrines as well as small birds such as firecrests. The peaks of the wooded mountains rise to over 6,000 feet and many flowers such as orchids and wild peonies grow in the park. There are a number of walking trails, some of which start in Cazorla itself, the main access point to this beautiful park.
