The Church of Nuestra Senora de Antigua is one of the oldest on Fuerteventura Island. Antigua dates back to the late 15th Century and the present church was built in 1785. There is a single nave and on one wall is a painting of Judgement Day. Other interesting features include the painted high altar, the chancel`s wooden ceiling and the painted canopy of the pulpit.
