The Iglesia de San Francisco is an attractive Gothic church built in the 14th Century. It was commissioned by Conde Fernan Penez de Andrade `O Boo` (The Good) and his tomb , covered with carvings of hunting scenes, can be seen inside the church. It is supported by a stone boar and a bear. There is also a fine sculpture of St Francis.
