The Church of Sant Joan Baptista dates back to the 15th Century but it was rebuilt after a fire in the mid 18th Century. Next to the church is a museum with exhibits of religious art and other ecclesiastical objects. The small cemetery is the burial place of English poet and novelist Robert Graves, who lived in Deia for many years. His simple tombstone is inscribed `Robert Graves Poet 1895-1985`.
