The Church of Sant Juan Baptista stands on a hill in the lttle town of Calvia, west of Palma. It dates from 1245 but was rebuilt in the late 19th Century and has a neo-Gothic facade. From the church are views over the surrounding countryside with its carob, almond and olive trees. Nearby, close to a fountain, is a ceramic mural relating the history of Calvia.
