Teia is a peaceful, little town lying in a fertile valley surrounded by vineyards. In its centre stands the 16th Century Church of Sant Marti which was built in the Gothic style. The church has a Renaissance front and a square bell tower. Teia stands at nearly 400 feet above sea level and it has some old farmhouses which date back to the 14th and 16th centuries.
