The Church of Santa Cruz is a simple, attractive building in the Romanesque style and dates from the 13th Century. Standing opposite the magnificent Jabalquinto Palace, it seems somewhat out of place as other buildings of this period are no longer standing. Inside is a Gothic chapel and wall paintings whilst on the columns are carved capitals. It is worth going inside.
