The Church of Santa Maria with its large belfry stands close to the cobbled, main square in the old town of Ainsa. This Romanesque church dates from the 12th Century. Underneath the apse is a crypt with columns richly decorated with capitals. The church has a triangular shaped, cobbled cloister and from the top of the tower are magnificent views over the town and valley.
