The cathedral in Ciudad Rodrigo was built over several centuries and it is a delightful mixture of styles. There are two Romanesque portals and you can see a line of biblical figures above the tympanum of the south doorway. The main apse is by Rodrigo Gil de Hontanon whilst the choir atalls were carved by Rodrigo Aleman. There is a Renaissance altar in the north aisle. In the cloisters are Romanesque capitals illustrating sin.
