Covalagua is a spectacular area with karstic formations including canyons and caves. There are also resurgences of rivers, as well as lakes and waterfalls. In the region are woods of beech, oak and broom with some yew trees and it is home to deer, wild boar and wolves. There are Paleolithic and Megalithic sites and visitors can see an old method of trapping wolves. There are opportunities for walking, pot-holing and cycling.
