Cala de Deia is a small, picturesque cove with a shingle beach surrounded by steep, jagged cliffs. A narrow road descends through a wooded ravine from Deia to the cove where there is a bar. At one time the beach was much used by fishermen who also had vegetable plots and vineyard terraces on the surrounding land. The cove`s cool, clean waters now attract visitors as well as local people.
