Curia Reial is a magnificent building that has been inhabited by a number of important families. It dates from the 13th and 14th centuries and at one time was the home of the king`s chancellor. The building has three floors and on the upper floor is a Gothic hall with a 14th Century wooden ceiling and lancet arches. An audio-visual presentation about Besalu is on the ground floor.
