Denia is an attractive resort with many miles of coastline and several, sandy beaches, especially in the area known as Las Marinas. These are well equipped with lifeguards, red cross points, board walks and foot showers. Deckchairs and sunshades can be hired. It is also possible to hire pedal boats and canoes. Some areas are suitable for windsurfing and kitesurfing. There are also facilities for beach volleyball.
