El Palmeral Park is a beautiful park on the southern outskirts of the city and on the road to Elche. It is in a wooded area and has many lakes, ponds, streams and exotic plants and palm trees. There are quite a number of facilities and a pavilion where family events take place such as children`s theatre and puppet shows. There are facilities for sports and cycling tracks.
