El Torcal Natural Park is a beautiful, impressive landscape of limestone which has been weathered by wind and rain into unusual scenery with strange rock formations. It is said to be some of the finest limestone scenery in Europe. An information centre in the park can give details about the wildlife. Many kinds of orchids grow here and spring is an ideal time to visit. Griffin vultures are sometimes spotted. There are also waymarked walking trails with fantastic views.
