This museum was the home of the Galician novelist Emilia Pardo Bazan who died in her late sixties in 1921. It is now the Headquarters of the Galician Royal Academy. On the first floor of the 18th Century mansion is a museum containing some of the writer`s belongings. The rooms retain the atmosphere of the period and a home. Objects on display include furniture, religious items and glassware. A hall is devoted to reviewing the writer`s literary work.
