Ermita de Betlem, a few miles north of Arta, is a remote, tiny hermitage that was founded in 1805. Its little church has several primitive, religious frescoes. It makes a fine destination for a walk and the route passes through a wooded valley before climbing a steep hillside to the hermitage. From here are fantastic views over the Badia d`Alcudia. Be sure to take a picnic.
