Fuives is a centre devoted to the native breed of donkey in Catalonia. Here the visitor can learn all about the breed, including its physical characteristics, its care and feeding requirements. There is an audio-visual presentation explaining the history of the Catalan donkey and how it has been used and exploited over the centuries. Part of the visit is in a typical, ancient Catalan farmhouse.
