Galilea is a pretty village situated high above the sea and below Puig de Galatzo. From the church are magnificent views of the southwest coast of Mallorca. The Church of the Immaculate Concepion was founded by Captain Antonio Barcelo who protected the island from pirates. The village is popular with artists and day trippers who come to enjoy the views and eat in the restaurants. The road from Andratx passes though the mountains.
