The Gran Teatro Falla is a beautiful, neo-Mudejar building with striking horseshoe shaped arches. It has an impressive interior and it is the main venue in Cadiz for theatre and music. During the Cadiz Carnaval, competitions take place here. The carnival is in February or March and there are musical gatherings on the streets as well, including flamenco. Everyone is in fancy dress and there are several parades.
