The Jardin de Marquesa is the garden of the splendid late 19th Century Palace of the Marquis of Arucas. The estate is one of the oldest on the island. The garden is well worth seeinq and it contains many species of tropical and subtropical plants, including palm trees. It is interesting to explore, and in the centre is a lake and a Japanese garden.
