Opened in 1995, this magnificent aquarium is one of the largest in Europe. It has an excellent Mediterranean collection and from a transparent, 200 feet long tunnel you can watch sharks and other deep fish gliding above you as if you were walking on the ocean bed. Tanks are devoted to other seas and you can see fish from the Red Sea, the Caribbean and the Great Barrier Reef. There are over 30 tanks and 450 different species in the aquarium.
