La Llotja del Tint is an ancient building that was once a factory for dyeing fabrics. Medieval merchants brought woollen cloth here to be dyed in huge vats. Afterwards, the merchants sold and exported the fabrics all over the Mediterranean. This 15th Century Gothic building was refurbished in the 1970s. Originally it had one floor but now has two. Art exhibitions are held on the first floor.
