Los Millares is an important archaeological site which was inhabited during the third millennium BC. This was the period before the Bronze Age. It appears to have been a flourishing town and may have held as many as 2000 people. Many finds have been discovered on the site such as ceramics, jewellery and copper tools. There are also over eighty tombs nearby. On the site is an exhibition. Los Millares is open most days of the week.
