Malmuerta Tower

The Torre de la Malmuerta was originally connected to the city walls by an arch. It has an octgonal shape with loopholes and steps climb to the top floor from where there are magnificent views of Cordoba. Beneath the arch are stones with dates and inscriptions. There is a tragic legend about the tower involving a woman who was killed by her husband because he mistakenly thought she had been unfaithful to him.
