The Parque de Maria Cristina is a pleasant place to relax and it is only a short distace from Plaza Alta and the bustle of the port. In the park are the restored remains of 13th Century royal baths whilst nearby are the remains of medieval walls and a moat. During the summer months several concerts are held in the park including classical and rock music. There are also displays of flamenco dancing.
