Montoro is a lovely, picturesque, small town with narrow streets and old houses. On its main square stands the Parish Church of San Bartolome with its fine tower. Dating mainly from the 16th Century, the church is in a variety of styles and boasts an Isbabelline portal. Inside are three naves with a Mudejar wooden ceiling. Nearby is the town hall which has a Baroque and Renaissance facade.
