The Museo del Santo Rosario holds a collection of over 1000 rosaries donated from people all over the world. The collection started in 1967 when Paulino Diaz Alcaide began to ask famous people for rosaries as donations for the collection. They are from all five continents. Contributors include Pope Paul V1, John Paul 11, Teresa of Calcutta, King Juan Carlos 1 and Queen Sofia, the Princes of Monaco and Richard Nixon.
