Naveta des Tudons

The Naveta des Tudons is a Bronze Age burial chamber that has been restored. At one time it was used as a cattle shed. It has the shape of an upturned boat and is over 40 feet long. Excavations in the 1950s uncovered the remains of at least 100 people and some had bronze bracelets on their arm bones. This type of burial chamber is unique to Menorca. The antechamber is accessible through a small entrance.
