O Vilar Beach is a peaceful, curved beach which is about 300 yards long. It has fine white sand and is well equipped with showers and a Red Cross point. The beach can be windy with rough waves and care should be taken, but it is a great beach to visit on a stormy day when you can watch the waves crashing against the rocks. Nearby is the similar well equipped beach of A Fragota. Both have restaurants and nearby parking.
