The Museo Etnografico Gonzalez Santana is housed in an 18th Century building known as the King`s Bakery. It is inside the walls of a medieval castle. This rural museum contains recreated workshops of different craftsmen, including a tailor and a blacksmith. You can also see the furniture of a period house. The fortress is dominated by a keep built by Joao 111 of Portugal in the late 15th Century and it offers great views of the town.
