Map

The Palau de la Musica Catalana is one of Barcelona`s main concert halls. Completed in 1908, it is a splendid Moderniste building with an elaborate red brick facade and ceramic pillars bearing busts of great composers. At the corner of the building is a large sculpture symbolising Catalan folk song. More ornamentation is inside, and the highlight is the auditorium with its huge, glorious inverted dome of blue and gold stained glass, paintings and sculptures. The building is now designated a World Heritage Site.
