Palau Reial de Pedralbes was part of the estate belonging to Count Eusebi Guell until it passed into the hands of the Spanish king in the early 20th Century. General Franco stayed here. The building became a museum and now houses the Museu de Arts Decoratives which contains period furniture and household items from the 13th Century to the present day. There is also a Ceramics Museum with several rooms of ceramics from the main towns of ceramic production in Spain, as well as Muslim items. The museum has some ceramics by Picasso and Miro.
